Şimdi Burada Ol Filminin Konusu

Yönetmen Lilibet Foster’ın “Be Here Now” (Şimdi Burada Ol) adlı belgeseli, Withfield’ın kanser olduğunu öğrendiği 2010 yılının mart ayından başlayarak oyuncunun 11 Eylül 2011’deki ölümüne kadar olan süreci ele alıyor. Belgeselde Whitfield ve Vashti’nin kanser haberini alışı, tedavi süreci ve tedaviye cevap alamadıklarını öğrendiklerinde yaşadığı yıkım anlatılıyor. Ancak belgeselin ne zaman seyirci karşısına çıcağı meçhul. Çünkü Foster, mali zorluklar nedeniyle belgeselin montaj aşamasında kaldığını yardım bulamazlarsa çabalarının boşa kalacağını söyledi. 'ŞİMDİ BURADA OL' Andy Whitfield, kanser olduğunu öğrenince koluna “Be Here Now” yazılı dövme yaptırdı. Belgesel de adını bu sözden aldı.
